Christmas Eve, the toilet overflowed. Prince Properties had someone come out -at our time - and fix it. Christmas night, a very loud beep - beep - beep at 11:00 at night....must be the fire alarm battery....called Prince Properties- Oh, was I embarrassed! It was MY computer. They were WONDERFUL - very patient - on their Christmas Day.

Absolutely loved the condo we rented in Bldg. 4 at the Surf and Racquet. The view was the best and the condo was everything we hoped for. Would definitely rent again.
The rental unit was spacious, clean, and has a beautiful ocean view. The grounds are very well kept and the pool area is very nice as well. Overall GREAT experience and we hope to come back within the year and stay in the same unit again :)
Dusty, apparently not used for awhile, very skimpy on supplies, dvd didn't work, living room furniture not comfortable, very irritated by the noise from upstairs during the night,every night, exercise machines?? basically ruined our stay. terrific location.
We love staying at this condo. It's home away from home for us so the upgrades in the kitchen and bathroom were very much appreciated. We were disappointed the sliding glass patio doors were cloudy when we arrived and obstructed our view of the ocean. Also, the front porch light would not work even though we bought a new light bulb. There are several things I purchased for the condo: scissors, a little cutting board, an extra pillow, and some light hand weights that I left in the closet for future use :-) I found some utensils in the kitchen (esp. the can opener) that are getting rusty and need upgrading. But these are minor things compared to the wonderful time we had in lovely Kona. We are already thinking of next year!!!
1. there were no extra trash bags 2. needed a dish cloth or two in the kitchen 3. a couple more wash cloths in the bathrooms 4. light bulb outside front door burned out 5. a couple beach towels would be a nice extra
The best part about this property was the view! Waking up to the ocean was a real treat. We did not meet the property manager, but Prince Properties was very easy to deal with and very accommodating. The rugs were a bit wet (don't know why), but that did not disrupt our stay in the least. Definitely recommended!
after paying the rent promptly and the 250.00 insurance charged I was extremely disappointed to be charged an additional 75.00 for a lost key.Also blinds were broken in bedroon and lack of privacy an issue
We stayed here 12/26-12/29/2010 and LOVED it! The view is beautiful and unbeatable. The property and landscaping are wonderful. This unit has been updated and the remodel was well done.
We were very satisfied with Prince Properties. My husband fell ill on route and we were delayed by two days. They accomodated us to extend our vacation with no extra charge. The condo itself is beautiful. We could hear the ocean waves crashing every day. The condo was clean and roomy. The only thing that was inaccurate was that it was fully renovated as the base of the shower and the tub were very old and either cracked or black scum. Otherwise everything was new and immaculate. Thanks for the stay it will truly be a family vacation to remember!
Great, spacious condo. The view is unbelievable. The south Kona location is great - close to a shopping center and a farmer's market as well as just minutes to the main area of Kailua-Kona. The snorkeling in the water right off the condo is first rate and the water is very inviting. Condo itself is comfortable and has a huge lanai. Looks like they redid the cabinetry/sinks in the bathrooms, but left the shower/tub areas alone. They are badly in need of a makeover. The kitchen area is fine but could use some more supplies, namely cutting boards and sharp knives. The bed in the master has a mattress that is extremely stiff and for some reason is only a queen while the 2nd bedroom has a very comfortable king. They should switch those around. These are very minor issues in an otherwise fantastic condo. All in all, a great place to stay.
We loved the Bamboo Condo and will most likely come back for another visit. The view is breathtaking. The kitchen is extremely huge (bring your own spices!). Very well laid out floor plan. This condo is not close to the pool and is very secluded.
The property was well located with a beautiful view. The management was very helpful responding to our requests in a very timely manner. We found the property and gained access with easy using the managers directions. The screen doors and slider to the porch needs some attention as well as the screen in the second bedroom. The microwave did not work but the property manager broought us another one. The dryer on switch was broken but we used another plastic part to turn it on. These items were minor and somewhat expected from a rental property.
We had a wonderful vacation. This condo is well-situated for relaxation and fun. It is clean and well-supplied. The only negative comment is that the furniture, although large, is not very comfortable. We usually were using the chairs or sofa in the evening. They were almost too big. I feel like Goldilocks. This would probably not keep us from renting in again. The views were superb, the pool refreshing, and our tennis mediocre. The Collyers
Sally & I loved it so much we are booking the condo complex again for January. We were very disappointed we couldn’t have the same condo because it was so well provisioned and maintained. Prince Properties were efficient and friendly. I enjoyed working with them. They made our booking and our stay easy. I’d do business with them again and will recommend Prince Properties to all my friends. Aloha
