Stayed 7 days in December, 2007
The reservation process, check in/out, and refund of the security deposit all went flawlessly. While we were staying in the unit, though, I noticed several small items that needed attention (missing electrical faceplates and items missing from the kitchen
sink drain come to mind) and despite emailing the property manager I had dealt with to make the reservation to let him know about the various maintenance issues I was finding, I got no word back from him during our stay. The phone number left in the unit for
the property manager was not valid either. We had trouble with the master bathroom toilet the entire week and the day before we checked out, it stopped up completely. I called that in the morning we left and I assume someone came to take care of that after
we checked out. The location of the property was fabulous. The beds weren't very comfortable, though, and I wasn't suprised to see that the unit was for sale because it was lacking that sense of being lovingly taken care of and lived in. The kitchen wasn't
nearly as updated as most other Hawaiian condos we have stayed in, and we've always had at least one bedroom tv for our daughter to enjoy (this unit had only one tv in the living room). Hopefully the unit has sold by now and has new owners who are making the
necessary upgrades and showing the unit lots of TLC.
